Back Bore: 2 x bore holes. Original hole has a standing Southern Cross wind mill, not equipped. Hole depth 56 ft. approximately. A concrete lined, open topped, steel tank stands beside this mill. Second hole, tested at 600 gallon/hr when drilled, equipped with a Solar/ Mono pump, installed 2017, delivering water 2km to 2 x 5,500 gallon poly tanks through 2 inch poly. Multiple troughs feed off this delivery line.
Lochibar Bore: 1 x bore hole, equipped with a Yanmar Jet pump, delivering water 1.5km to a 20,000 gallon concrete lined, open topped steel tank. Approx. 600 gallon/hr is delivered to this tank. This tank is not used regularly as stock water is delivered from the solar pump storage at the highest elevation on the property. In a wet season water has been seen flowing freely from this bore hole at ground level, unsure of pumping capacity, depth 60 ft. approximately.
Back Dam: 4,000 yard approximately located on a water course that has flowed every year. Equipped with a belt drive Mono pump/ Yanmar diesel, used to supplement the bore water supply.
Cattle Yards
Railway line posts, 2” pipe and cable make up the yards. A Bud Flow forcing pen and portable panels have been implemented for the covered vet crush assembly. A calf branding facility completes the yards. Cattle have access to a water trough within the yards.
Fencing
The property is fenced into twelve main paddocks. Fencing is three and four high tensile barb, split wooden posts with steel posts between.
